Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about feeling safe enough to ask the questions. I help you quiet the noise, trust your voice, and build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.

About

My name is Danielle Sarns

Hi, I’m Dani Sarns (LLMSW)—a therapist, coach, and former educator dedicated to helping ambitious young people achieve their goals without losing themselves along the way.

As a three-time University of Michigan grad (Go Blue!), I know what it’s like to chase high standards and wear multiple hats. I’ve worked in corporate settings, coached youth athletes, and taught in classrooms—and I’ve seen firsthand how pressure to perform can chip away at confidence, self-worth, and joy.

Today, I specialize in helping high-achieving teens and young adults manage performance anxiety, perfectionism, and identity struggles through an integrative approach that blends:

  • Therapy + Mental Performance Coaching

  • Cognitive and somatic tools

  • Mindfulness and creative expression

  • Evidence-based practices grounded in compassion

Whether you’re a student, athlete, or young professional, my goal is to help you master your mindset, regulate stress, and reconnect with who you are—not just what you accomplish.

I’m also trained in Sport Social Work, Yoga & Meditation, and am completing a certification in Child Yoga. I bring a trauma-informed, holistic lens to every session, creating a space where you feel supported, empowered, and seen.

You don’t need to be perfect to be powerful. You just need to feel safe enough to be real.

Let’s take that first step—together.

What to Expect During a Therapy Session

During a therapy session, young individuals can expect a safe and confidential environment where they can openly discuss their thoughts and feelings. We begin with an initial 15-minute call to see if I would be a good fit for you, then move on to an intake where I get to learn more about you and your story. From then on, sessions can be scheduled weekly and eventually bi-weekly or monthly based on how you feel.
